Brand Management case study:
Dulux
Requirement
Dulux – the international paint manufacturer with stores worldwide, required a more efficient system to manage its library of branding assets used for marketing collateral. Images and files were scattered and housed on various local drives and CDs. The process of distributing images, to its PR agency for instance, was time-consuming and arduous – taking up valuable human resources. This involved one or more people to receive requests; search and retrieve files; modify and resize images; burn to CD and dispatch; and notify end-clients. These processes were tracked manually with paper-based administration – Excel spreadsheets, staff e-mails, and log books.
Solution
A lookat.me™ solution provided Dulux with:
- a centralized repository for all of its brand assets
- an web-interface where registered clients could self-serve and self-order
- easy and intuitive search, order and download functionality
- report functionality to easy track client information and photographic orders
Benefit
The cost-effective benefit is in a system which automates processes where human resources were previously needed. For Dulux, brand management has been vastly simplified, centralised, and undertaken all on one interface and system.
